We wanted to sell our house at 1222 Deer Ridge in 2012 when moved out of town for work but we had two mortgages on the property, and the market value was not in our favor. So we kept the house for many years hoping we could sell it to a family member or friend and break even.

We moved back to the St. Louis area in 2019 and decided to purchase another home. My Mother passed away leaving me the job of selling the house my parents had built 70 years ago and had grown up in. My nephew was living in the house but had just closed on his own house, so I needed to move quickly because I did not want our family house to be empty.
